The Table is an “urban neighborhood eatery” opened in August 2012 by local restaurateur Jim Stump known for Los Gatos Brewing Company and AP Stumps. They serve creative dishes made with local ingredients, at prices we found to be quite reasonable — appetizers cost $10 plus or minus a couple bucks, and most entrees cost between $15 and $20. The Table is an welcomed addition to the neighborhood. We found the food, service and ambience all to be excellent. The beef cheeks and the trout were particularly enjoyable. Hope to see more variation in the menu over time. The appetizers were pleasant, although portions were on the small side.

The Table was a nice surprise in Willow Glen. It was full last night when we went, so my group of 4 sat at the bar and had a nice time. The figs, house made corn pasta, salads and chicken were all delicious. Food was good, portions a little small, but delicious. Nice wine suggestions from our bartender/server. Looking forward to some menu expansion as there are not too many choices on the menu…not a lot more…just maybe a few.

What a fantastic dining experience! Ace marks for service, environment, and of course food! Had the trout which was cooked to perfection, tasted the pork dish which was succulent, and had doughnut holes that were to die for! I cannot wait to return!
