Willow Glen resident, Willow Glen Charm fan and self-described “weather geek” Joe Vela has a weather station at his house on Newport. It is a Davis Vantage Pro 2 Personal Weather Station with with rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors and a wind gauge called an anemometer.
He sent us a really cool widget that relays the readings from his weather station so if you ever need to know exactly what the weather is here in Willow Glen, we have you covered! As you can see it provides current temperature, barometric pressure and dew point, plus the day’s high and low temps, and even current wind direction with a record of wind speed!
